White on White Valentine

Hello Stampers and Happy Valentine Day!  Hope you have lots of love and happiness!

Here’s my last Valentine Card.

This card really is white on pink on white but it all looks kind of pinkish. ? The Be Mine Stitched Dies made this card possible.

This close up looks white. 🙂 I love those Iridescent Sequins!

Pop Up Valentine

Hello Stampers! Today is #5 of my Valentine Cards.

Well…this is pretty simple – DSP, bow and Everyday Label Punch.

Here’s the inside! I actually did this part in two different versions. I stamped hearts all over the pink paper. I couldn’t decide if it was too busy but I think I will be adding something to this one. I always try to leave the door open for my class members to add their own creative touch. I learn so much from them!

Here’s a close up!

Until tomorrow…Happy Stamping!    Donna

From My Heart

Hello Stampers! Here’s #4 Valentine.

I LOVE the From My Heart DSP…it is so versatile! We punched out the hearts from the paper. I CASE’d this card from my upline Mary Fish. I just fell in love with it so I had to CASE it.

The inside sentiment. Love the partial heart.

Friend Valentine

Hello Stampers! This week will be filled with Valentines. Here’s one for a dear friend.

I have a very long time and dear friend I sent this card to. We have been friends since we were five! We went all through school together then went to college in nearby areas. She was in my wedding and I in hers. She moved to San Diego and 2 years later my husband and I moved there. We continue to be very close and best of friends. Unfortunately she won’t see this for a while because she and her husband are off on a cruise through the Panama Canal but I’m hoping she will still love it. I also hope that you will enjoy it too.

A close up of the wording. I love this sentiment!

I had to cover up what I wrote because I forgot to take the photo before I signed it…sorry about that!

Heartfelt Valentine

Hello Stampers – today I have Valentine Card #2 for you.

I absolutely love the From My Heart DSP…I’ve used it on all of my Valentine Cards! The Heart Pack Punches make life so easy!

A little close up showing details of the front panel.

Here’s the inside of the card.

This card was CASE’d from Linda Bedinger. It was just so cute I had to CASE it.

Here’s a close-up of the heart stamp…it is so cool. Everyone in class wanted to know how to make the white letters.

The trick is to make sure you have enough ink on the stamp and it’s a snap!

Hope you enjoyed this Valentine Card…number 3 is on it’s way!

Happy Stamping!    Donna

Meant To Be

Hello Stampers!  I have some Valentine cards for you so I’ll be posting more often this week to get my six cards in.

Today’s card was an inspiration (CASE with changes) from Sharon Armstrong. This will be for my husband – I love it!

The lettering is done with silver ink and not heat embossing.

Here’s a close up

Notice that this is white on white background with the embossed piece raised with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Also note that you should cut your heart out BEFORE you emboss. 🙂

Here’s the inside…

This card is simple but elegant. I used the silver foil for both the inside and front as well as the black – no wasted paper!

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Meant to Be

Ink – Silver

Paper – Whisper White, Black, Silver Foil

Accessories – Tufted Embossing Folder, Heart Pack Punches, Be Mine Stitched Dies

Hope you enjoyed this Valentine card…5 more to go! Until my next post…Happy Stamping!     Donna

Meant To Be

Hello Stampers!  Hope you are all in good health. The cold and flu season is still upon us.

Since Valentines Day is approaching I thought I’d share a pretty Valentine Card.

This is such a pretty card made with Lovely Lipstick and Flirty Flamingo cardstock on Soft Sea Foam. The DSP in this card does not have the touches of Soft Sea Foam but in class the participants used another design (from All My Love DSP) that did have some Soft Sea Foam which pulled in the base card.

I did not center my accent color and DSP but rather moved both to the left and rounded the right hand corners of the DSP. You know I’m partial to rounded corners! 🙂

Here’s a close up to show off the beautiful Be Mine Stitched Framelits.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Meant To Be (used for inside sentiment)

Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper – Soft Sea Foam, Flirty Flamingo, Lovely Lipstick, All My Love DSP

Accessories – Be Mine Stitched Framelits

Hope you enjoyed this card and the Meant To Be Bundle is awesome. Those framelits are real winners.

Take care, stay healthy and…Happy Stamping!     Donna

Fun Cards

Hello Stampers!

I have a couple fun cards for you today. I didn’t design these…we had a meeting at my upline’s house and we made these. They are so neat I wanted to share them with you.

This card was designed by Peggy Noe (my upline).

This card was made using the new Meant To Be Stamp Set and the Be Mine Stitched Framelits. Those gorgeous cut out hearts were made from the Sale-A-Bration Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheets. The solid heart was run through the Big Shot using the Lace Dynamic Embossing Folder after it was cut out.

Isn’t that embossing folder awesome on the foil!

Here’s another card we made – this one designed by fellow demo Robin Daus.

Really cute, huh!  Robin taught us how to do the mirror image…so easy.

The background was embossed with the Dot to Dot Embossing Folder and the frogs from the Sale-A-Bration So Hoppy Together Stamp Set.

So you now have a couple ideas for making cards using new products from the Occasions Catalog and some freebies from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.

Have fun and Happy Stamping!     Donna

Tri-Fold Card

Hi Stampers!  Today I have a very versatile card for you. Yes, mine is a Valentine card…better late than never! I should have posted this on Wednesday but life got in the way. 🙂

In class some of the participants made this lovely card into a birthday card…you can put any sentiment you want on it.

Open the first page and find this lovely flourish.

And finally the inside where you can put your sentiment. I left this particular one blank until I need it and then decide what I want inside.

This card may look difficult but really isn’t.

Here are the measurements for this card:

Powder Pink – 6 3/8″ x 5 1/2″, score at 2 1/8″

Whisper White – 8″ x  5 1/4″, score at 4″; (2) 2 1/2″ x 4″

Sahara Sand – (2) 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″

DSP – 2″ x 5 3/8″ and 1/2″ x 5 1/4″

Use the photos to lay out your pieces then stamp and adhere.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Sets – Bloomin’ Love, Flourishing Phrases

Ink – Crumb Cake, Powder Pink

Paper – Powder Pink, Whisper White, Sahara Sand, Fresh Florals DSP

Accessories – Stampin’ Write Markers (Pear Pizzazz, Powder Pink)

This card is really lovely; I hope you will try making one.

Please try to stay healthy! The flu bug has hit my daughter and her family very hard…all 5 of them are down with the flu (mom, dad, 3 children). Unfortunately one of the girls also has pneumonia! This flu is nothing to fool around with so take care of yourselves.

Happy Stamping!      Donna

Valentine Lots to Love Box

Hello Stampers!  We’re getting close to Valentine’s Day so I have some cards to use for Valentines or Birthday.

This adorable box has the greeting “happy valentine’s day” and the mini card is for a birthday card on a package. I like to give the ladies in my classes the option of the special holiday as well as birthday or general.

These darling boxes are so easy to make using the die from the Lots to Love Box Framelits. Just add some DSP, some accessories and sentiment and you have a very cute box.

We made little greeting cards too, using the Whisper White Narrow Note Cards and Envelopes. You can make a set of 4 to slip into the box. We also made gift tags but I am not posting those.

These cards are so handy. Great to put on a gift package!

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Sets – Teeny Tiny Wishes, Birthday Blossoms

Ink – Berry Burst

Paper – Berry Burst, Fresh Florals DSP, Whisper White

Accessories – Ribbon, Lots to Love Box Framelits, Duet Banner Punch, Everyday Label Punch  (held over from the Holiday Catalog)

Hope you enjoyed this cute little box and ideas for contents. I’ve been trying to come up with a candy to put inside. It needs to be flat…maybe a couple Ghirardelli Squares. Please contact me if you think of other items to fit in this little box.

Happy Stamping!        Donna
