Bloomin’ Valentine

Hello Stampers. Today’s Valentine card can actually be used for almost any occasion. I left the inside of the card blank so that any sentiment can be added when needed.

bloomin-valentine-1

I miss Blackberry Bliss so much that I find myself using Rich Razzleberry quite a bit lately. Add a little Blushing Bride and Sweet Sugarplum and you have a great combination of colors.

The layers give this card an elegant appearance. Clean and neat is this card 100%.  The little flowers from the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits pull the Blushing Bride into the design. And of course, adding the tiny pearls gives the flowers a little bling.

The inside is a piece of Whisper White with a small strip of the DSP across the top and a little sprig of flowers from the Bloomin’ Love Stamp Set. (My photo didn’t turn out quite as nice as I would have liked so I chose to delete it.)

Lovely Valentine

Here’s another great design for Valentine’s Day. I was inspired by Juana Ambida.

lovely-valentine-1

I love that this card uses the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlit from last year’s Occasions Catalog and was held over in the Annual Catalog. This is one great die set. You will also recognize that I used the Love Notes Framelits again.

Since you need to stamp the little hearts on the side AFTER you cut them…it’s a bit difficult to hit the middle of every heart (as you can see). Don’t know exactly what happened with the bottom three hearts! Maybe it was late and my vision was off. Ha,ha!

The inside…

Paper – Whisper White, Real Red, Sending Love DSP

Have fun with all these great Framelits and Thinlits. They really add pizzazz to any card.

Hope you are enjoying these Valentine Cards – one more to come on Friday. Then I’ll need to create some Birthday cards for my February classes. We all need Birthday cards!

Sealed With Love

Hello Stampers! Today I have a lovely Valentine Card for you. I must admit…I have seen versions of this card all over Pinterest and on our Demo sites. I think we all had the same idea with different twists or…we all CASE’d Linda Bedinger! This card is not difficult but really packs a punch for design appeal.

Valentine Candy Bags

Hi Stampers! Today I have a really cute little treat bag for you to make for Valentines Day. I give full credit to the amazing Dawn Griffith for the directions. I made my own version of the decoration but liked her little sentiment so I CASE’d it. I’ll include the link to her video.

valentine-candy-bag-1

I have made about 30 of these little goodie bags so far. This batch is for my retired teachers luncheon today. We call ourselves the Leisure Ladies. We meet 3 times a year and I always like to bring a little paper craft item (of course filled with treats).

You probably recognize that great DSP from the Occasions catalog – Sending Love DSP. With Dawn’s directions these are so easy to make.

The cardstock is Real Red as well as the ink. I used the Sweetheart punch to make the hearts and the Classic Label Punch with the sentiment from Sealed With Love Stamp Set.  I found that 7  Kisses fit nicely.

Sorry about the bubble wrap in the photo but I had already packed it up to go and realized I had forgotten to take pictures.

Here is the video I used by Dawn Griffith entitled “Sending Valentine Love Candy Bag”

I love to find new ideas and share them with you but I always give credit to my source (as long as I know who did it). Hope you enjoy this little treat bag. It is great for any gathering like – Bunko, school parties, family and friends.

Until Friday – with a Valentine cardHappy Stamping!

Love Note

Hello Stampers! Here’s a nice easy Valentine card for you. I’ve been making so many Real Red and White cards I decided to try the Soft Sky like they did in the Occasions Catalog.

love-note-1

There are several parts but with the Sealed With Love Stamp Set and Love Notes Framelits you are good to go! I did use some retired Real Red ribbon and DSP from last year for the envelope. Sorry but that is one of my goals for this year…to use up all my old DSP and ribbon! Hmmm, we’ll see about that!

love-note-2

I stamped Soft Sky ink on the Soft Sky paper for my background.

love-note-4

Used both the Sealed With Love SS and Love Notes Framelits for these two hearts. Love that silver foil heart with the black arrow woven through it.  The white heart actually can open up but I chose to keep it flat on this card. You’ll see another where I used it open in a future post.

love-note-5

Isn’t this tiny envelope adorable! There is one die to make the envelope, another for the inside note and a third to decorate the flap. All dies found in Love Notes Framelits. Gee…do you think I like this Bundle or what!

love-note-3

Here’s the inside…a simple but elegant font wishing a Happy Valentine’s Day.

Lots of photos for this one because I wanted to point out all the different parts of this card.

Products Used:

Stamp Set – Sealed With Love

Ink – Real Red, Memento Tuxedo Black, Soft Sky

Paper – Whisper White, Soft Sky, Black, Silver Foil, Sending Love DSP

Accessories – Love Notes Framelits, Real Red Ribbon

Hope you enjoyed this card. I certainly had a good time creating it (even though my work area was a disaster afterwards).

I have a very cool Fancy Fold card using Dragonfly Dreams SS and Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits for you on Friday. Until Friday…Happy Stamping!

For You Valentine

I have another CASE’d card for you today. It is not identical to the one I CASE’d from my friend and upline, Peggy Noe, but she gave me a great layout.

For You Valentine 1

This card was fun and pretty easy. We made this in a special class I did for my retired teacher friends. They had a very good time and did a great job.

We embossed the background with the Happy Heart Embossing Folder, attached the doily and Real Red ribbon then adhered that piece to the Crumb Cake card. We stamped “for you” from the Birthday Blooms and punched out the four hearts with the Sweetheart Punch. The DSP came from the Love Blossoms Stack.

For You Valentine 2

Here’s the inside made with the stamp set Bloomin’ Love and dies from retired Hearts Framelits.

As stampers we love to share so feel free to make this card your own.

Happy  Stamping!

Sheltering Tree Valentine

I LOVE trees and the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set is a favorite of mine. Here’s what I made using it for a Valentine card.

Sheltering Tree Valentine 1

All the tree parts are from Sheltering Tree, the love and little hearts are from Hello Life Stamp Set.

Sheltering Tree Valentine 2

The Real Red cardstock in the background is dry embossed with the Happy Heart Embossing Folder. The white piece is popped up.

Sheltering Tree Valentine 3

The inside is made using Bloomin’ Love Stamp Set.

This card was a big hit at card class and it was so much fun to make.

I don’t think I’m finished with Valentine cards yet…so keep watching!

Happy Stamping!
