Tri-Fold Card

Hi Stampers!¬† Today I have a very versatile card for you. Yes, mine is a Valentine card…better late than never! I should have posted this on Wednesday but life got in the way. ūüôā

In class some of the participants made this lovely card into a birthday card…you can put any sentiment you want on it.

Open the first page and find this lovely flourish.

And finally the inside where you can put your sentiment. I left this particular one blank until I need it and then decide what I want inside.

This card may look difficult but really isn’t.

Here are the measurements for this card:

Powder Pink – 6 3/8″ x 5 1/2″, score at 2 1/8″

Whisper White – 8″ x¬† 5 1/4″, score at 4″; (2) 2 1/2″ x 4″

Sahara Sand – (2) 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″

DSP – 2″ x 5 3/8″ and 1/2″ x 5 1/4″

Use the photos to lay out your pieces then stamp and adhere.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Sets – Bloomin’ Love, Flourishing Phrases

Ink – Crumb Cake, Powder Pink

Paper – Powder Pink, Whisper White, Sahara Sand, Fresh Florals DSP

Accessories – Stampin’ Write Markers (Pear Pizzazz, Powder Pink)

This card is really lovely; I hope you will try making one.

Please try to stay healthy! The flu bug has hit my daughter and her family very hard…all 5 of them are down with the flu (mom, dad, 3 children). Unfortunately one of the girls also has pneumonia! This flu is nothing to fool around with so take care of yourselves.

Happy Stamping!      Donna

Valentine Lots to Love Box

Hello Stampers!¬† We’re getting close to Valentine’s Day so I have some cards to use for Valentines or Birthday.¬†

This adorable box has the greeting “happy valentine’s day” and the mini card is for a birthday card on a package. I like to give the ladies in my classes the option of the special holiday as well as birthday or general.¬†

These darling boxes are so easy to make using the die from the Lots to Love Box Framelits. Just add some DSP, some accessories and sentiment and you have a very cute box.

We made little greeting cards too, using the Whisper White Narrow Note Cards and Envelopes. You can make a set of 4 to slip into the box. We also made gift tags but I am not posting those.

These cards are so handy. Great to put on a gift package!

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Sets – Teeny Tiny Wishes, Birthday Blossoms

Ink – Berry Burst

Paper – Berry Burst, Fresh Florals DSP, Whisper White

Accessories РRibbon, Lots to Love Box Framelits, Duet Banner Punch, Everyday Label Punch  (held over from the Holiday Catalog)

Hope you enjoyed this cute little box and ideas for contents. I’ve been trying to come up with a candy to put inside. It needs to be flat…maybe a couple Ghirardelli Squares. Please contact me if you think of other items to fit in this little box.

Happy Stamping!        Donna

Valentines and Birthday Cards by Guest Stamper

Hello Stampers! Today I’d like to share some cards my guest stamper and granddaughter created. Ashlyn is 9 years old and LOVES to make cards. While she spent a week with us she made 33 Valentine cards for her classmates and an adorable birthday card for her little sister.

This card was created for Ashlyn’s little sister who just turned 4. Emmalyn LOVES flamingos so…of course Ashlyn had to use our retired flamingo stamp.

You can see a tiny bit of her inside.  Ashlyn decided to type her sentiment and then use a die to cut it out.

Now to her Valentine cards…she did use a new non Stampin’ Up! die and she became quite proficient with the electric die cutter. She made pink cards for the girls and red for the boys & her male teacher. Total of 33 Valentine Cards!

Ashlyn cut all the scalloped circles and then used the Stamparatus to stamp the greeting. She was quite impressed with the Stamparatus and how easy and perfect each impression came out. As you can see she used dies a LOT! The little white and red hearts were all cut out with dies using the Big Shot and the actual base cards were cut using an electric die cutter.

Needless to say…I’m VERY proud of her. I’m sure there will be more great cards created by Ashlyn in the future.

Take care, stay healthy and ….Happy Stamping!¬† ¬† Donna

Bloomin’ Valentine

Hello Stampers. Today’s Valentine card can actually be used for almost any occasion. I left the inside of the card blank so that any sentiment can be added when needed.

I miss Blackberry Bliss so much that I find myself using Rich Razzleberry quite a bit lately. Add a little Blushing Bride and Sweet Sugarplum and you have a great combination of colors.

The layers give this card an elegant appearance. Clean and neat is this card 100%.¬† The little flowers from the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits pull the Blushing Bride into the design. And of course, adding the tiny pearls gives the flowers a little bling.

The inside is a piece of Whisper White with a small strip of the DSP across the top and a little sprig of flowers from the Bloomin’ Love Stamp Set. (My photo didn’t turn out quite as nice as I would have liked so I chose to delete it.)

Products Used:

Stamp Set – Bloomin’ Love

Ink – Rich Razzleberry

Paper – Rich Razzleberry, Blushing Bride, Sweet Sugarplum, Whisper White, Blooms & Bliss DSP

Accessories – Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits, Happy Heart Embossing Folder, Pearl Basic Jewels

Until Monday…Happy Stamping!

Lovely Valentine

Here’s another great design for Valentine’s Day. I was inspired by Juana Ambida.

I love that this card uses the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlit from last year’s Occasions Catalog and was held over in the Annual Catalog. This is one great die set. You will also recognize that I used the Love Notes Framelits again.

Since you need to stamp the little hearts on the side AFTER you cut them…it’s a bit difficult to hit the middle of every heart (as you can see). Don’t know exactly what happened with the bottom three hearts! Maybe it was late and my vision was off. Ha,ha!

The inside…

Products Used:

Stamp Set – Sealed With Love

Ink – Real Red

Paper – Whisper White, Real Red, Sending Love DSP

Accessories – Layering Circles Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits, Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Have fun with all these great Framelits and Thinlits. They really add pizzazz to any card.

Hope you are enjoying these Valentine Cards – one more to come on Friday. Then I’ll need to create some Birthday cards for my February classes. We all need Birthday cards!

Sealed With Love

Hello Stampers! Today I have a lovely Valentine Card for you. I must admit…I have seen versions of this card all over Pinterest and on our Demo sites. I think we all had the same idea with different twists or…we all CASE’d Linda Bedinger! This card is not difficult but really packs a punch for design appeal.

Using Love Notes Framelits gives you so many creative options. This is one fantastic bundle Рalong with Sealed With Love Stamp Set!

Isn’t that little envelope just darling! Yup, that Framelit is in the Love Notes set. I just love this card!

Products Used:.

Stamp Set – Sealed With Love

Ink – Real Red

Paper – Real Red, Whisper White, Sending Love DSP

This is a great card and you use only a few tools. Once you have that bundle you will go crazy with creativity! Remember…this isn’t only for Valentine cards – I can see using many of these for all different occasions.

Valentine Candy Bags

Hi Stampers! Today I have a really cute little treat bag for you to make for Valentines Day. I give full credit to the amazing Dawn Griffith for the directions. I made my own version of the decoration but liked her little sentiment so I CASE’d it. I’ll include the link to her video.

I have made about 30 of these little goodie bags so far. This batch is for my retired teachers luncheon today. We call ourselves the Leisure Ladies. We meet 3 times a year and I always like to bring a little paper craft item (of course filled with treats).

You probably recognize that great DSP from the Occasions catalog – Sending Love DSP. With Dawn’s directions these are so easy to make.

The cardstock is Real Red as well as the ink. I used the Sweetheart punch to make the hearts and the Classic Label Punch with the sentiment from Sealed With Love Stamp Set.  I found that 7  Kisses fit nicely.

Sorry about the bubble wrap in the photo but I had already packed it up to go and realized I had forgotten to take pictures.

Here is the video I used by Dawn Griffith entitled “Sending¬†Valentine Love Candy Bag”

I love to find new ideas and share them with you but I always give credit to my source (as long as I know who did it). Hope you enjoy this little treat bag. It is great for any gathering like – Bunko, school parties, family and friends.

Until Friday – with a Valentine cardHappy Stamping!
