Flourishing Congratulations

Hello Stampers!  The season is upon us with Weddings and Anniversaries coming up so I have a card which can be used for either one.

I did use Springtime Florals DSP from last year’s Sale-A-Bration. I accumulated so much of it because I fell in love with this paper! It just makes this simple card so elegant. I still have a lot of this DSP left even after using it in two classes! I REALLY like it! 🙂

I think the silver and gold is just beautiful. The cut out flourish really adds to the overall effect.

I added a strip of the DSP down the side of the inside with a lovely sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Floral Phrases

Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper- Whisper White, Springtime Florals DSP, Gold Foil

Accessories – Flourish Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Dies, 1/8″ Gold Ribbon

I must admit I did make a few of these cards – you never know when you need a wedding (not so much these days) or an anniversary card. The ladies in my classes liked this card too.

In this view you can see the little strip of DSP inside.

Hope you enjoyed seeing this card and maybe you’ll try it with whatever DSP you have on hand. Be Creative!

Until next week…Happy Stamping!     Donna

You’re Inspiring

Hello Stampers…hope spring has finally sprung where you live. Here in San Diego we’re still getting rain and that is unreal!

Today I have a lovely card for you to make for almost any occasion. I used the You’re Inspiring stamp set which is retiring as of June 3rd. I love these daffodils and this is a set I will not part with for quite a while.

Of course I had to use Daffodil Delight and it’s the perfect color!  I have been working on my photos and decided to give up on my camera and just use my phone. I can now take photos on my phone and quickly upload them to my computer. I really like the look so much better.

I actually made several of these cards for different occasions and I can’t wait to mail them!  This is a bright and cheery card to make so I hope you’ll try it.

Until next week…Happy Stamping!     Donna

All Adorned

Hello Stampers!

Today I have a very cool card with a second variation. I LOVE this stamp set. It’s All Adorned from the Sale-A-Bration brochure but good news…it will be held over in the new catalog!

I really love the great geometric designs you can create with this stamp set. Here’s one…

This is the first design. A little texture in the background made with an embossing folder. This stamping was so easy using the fantastic Stamparatus! Using both sides of each plate we were able to stamp everything on this card using only the Stamparatus.  I find that I use my blocks less and less due to the versatility of the Stamparatus. I also have the Carry Bag for it and I love it. It keeps all parts safe from dropping and getting dirty.

The square design in the middle was made by just turning the square Whisper White card around. The center was made using the second plate – one stamp on each side. So easy and no fail!

Here’s a nice close up of the center design.

Ink – Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper – Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White

Accessories – Rectangle Stitched Framelits, Sparkle Embossing Folder

One of the class participants wanted to make this card a bit more masculine for her boyfriend so here’s what we came up with together.

We changed up the color scheme and used the Cherry Cobbler base card and center design in Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler. A winner!

We all loved the way this combination turned out!

You really need to check this stamp set out if you didn’t get it during Sale-A-Bration. Believe it or not the new Annual Catalog comes out June 4th. Demonstrators get to see it on May 2nd.  I always love to see the new items!

I’m hoping to purchase some of our new Storage containers in May so I’ll post photos when I do. Check it out…great photos and descriptions in my Newsletter! If you haven’t signed up for my Weekly Newsletter…you will definitely want to. Just send me an email

Until my next post…Keep on Stamping!

Happy Stamping!    Donna

Happy Tails

Hello Stampers!

Today’s card is just so cute. I made mine as a pet (dog) sympathy card but you can use so many other sentiments. This is a great punch and stamp set! This is a CASE from my upline Mary Fish.

I had to put the paw prints on the envelope flap…too cute!

This Highland Heather Gingham is just so beautiful. The dog is the smaller check and the other side is larger to use for the background.

Stamp Set – Happy Tails

Ink – Gorgeous Grape

Paper – Whisper White, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Gingham Gala DSP

Accessories – Dog Builder Punch, Linen Thread, Stitched Shapes Framelits

Here’s one more view of this really cute card.

Can’t miss this shot…had to go big to get a crisp view. 🙂

In class the participants used a combination of Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green. I’m sorry I missed taking a photo of their creations…the greens looked awesome. I was thinking Balmy Blue and Pacific Point would also be a good combo.

The Dog Builder Punch and Happy Tails Stamp Set are real keepers…especially if you love dogs!

Until my next post…Keep on Stamping!

Happy Stamping!    Donna
