Hello Cupcake

Hello Stampers!

So many of you have fallen in love with the Sale-A-Bration FREE stamp set “Hello Cupcake” so here’s a very cute birthday card using this set which I CASE’d from Dawn Griffith. We made this one in my February Class and it was a hit.

Isn’t this the sweetest card! I love this stamp set and the Gingham Gala DSP is the BEST.

I’m sure you noticed that I also used the Sale-A-Bration Organdy Ribbon. That is definitely another winner and it’s FREE with a $50 purchase! The Lemon Lime Twist just makes this card so bright and festive. Of course, you can use any color combo and it would be fantastic.

The sentiment used also comes from that same stamp set. It’s a winner in my book.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Hello Cupcake

I hope you will make this card…in fact…make a lot! Anyone receiving this card will love it.

Until my next post…Happy Stamping!     Donna

I really love this new Dear Doily Bundle. There are so many lovely stamps and dies to use.

The new Floral Romance DSP really adds to this set.

Butterfly Joy Fold

Hello Stampers!

Today I will show you my version of a Joy Fold Card.

You may have already made a Joy Fold Card because they can be found all over on Pinterest.  I’ll give you my measurements and directions but you can find many videos just in case you want to see the variety.

I have a LOT of photos for this one. 🙂

This looks like a regular size card but part of the front cover is cut off and then a smaller card opening in the opposite direction with a small cut out to hold it closed. That’s basically what it is!

Notice the touch of Organdy Highland Heather Ribbon on the side. (Unfortunately the Organdy Ribbon Pack from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure is out of stock. 😦 )

This shows both cards opened up to see the inside sentiment.

Here’s a close up of the darling little butterfly that holds the front piece closed.

Here are my directions:

Base Card – 8 1/2 x 4 1/4, score at 5 1/2; 3 x 8, score at 4

DSP – 2 3/4 x 4

Inside Whisper White – (2) 2 3/4 x 3 3/4; 5 1/4 x 4

After scoring I lined up the smaller card folding in the opposite direction in the center of the larger section of the base card – just so I knew how it should go…this is important to remember.

I used the bubbles (both sizes) from Beauty Abounds to stamp onto the 5 1/4 x 4 Whisper White to make my own DSP.

The little butterfly was stamped using Beauty Abounds and then cutting it out with Butterfly Beauty Thinlits. I put a tiny piece of Stampin’ Dimensionals on the left side of the butterfly so that the flap would still tuck under.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Beauty Abounds

Ink – Highland Heather, Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper – Highland Heather, Whisper White, Botanical Butterfly DSP (from Sale-A-Bration)

Accessories – Butterfly Beauty Thinlits, Organdy Ribbon Highland Heather (SAB), Stampin’ Up! Markers

I really hope you try this fold and maybe even this design or your version of it.

Don’t be shy…send me photos of your creations and I’ll post them on my blog and you can be my Guest Stamper!

Take care of yourself, stay healthy and Happy Stamping!     Donna

Meant To Be

Hello Stampers!  Hope you are all in good health. The cold and flu season is still upon us.

Since Valentines Day is approaching I thought I’d share a pretty Valentine Card.

This is such a pretty card made with Lovely Lipstick and Flirty Flamingo cardstock on Soft Sea Foam. The DSP in this card does not have the touches of Soft Sea Foam but in class the participants used another design (from All My Love DSP) that did have some Soft Sea Foam which pulled in the base card.

I did not center my accent color and DSP but rather moved both to the left and rounded the right hand corners of the DSP. You know I’m partial to rounded corners! 🙂

Here’s a close up to show off the beautiful Be Mine Stitched Framelits.

Hope you enjoyed this card and the Meant To Be Bundle is awesome. Those framelits are real winners.

Take care, stay healthy and…Happy Stamping!     Donna
