I have another CASE’d card for you today. It is not identical to the one I CASE’d from my friend and upline, Peggy Noe, but she gave me a great layout.
This card was fun and pretty easy. We made this in a special class I did for my retired teacher friends. They had a very good time and did a great job.
We embossed the background with the Happy Heart Embossing Folder, attached the doily and Real Red ribbon then adhered that piece to the Crumb Cake card. We stamped “for you” from the Birthday Blooms and punched out the four hearts with the Sweetheart Punch. The DSP came from the Love Blossoms Stack.
Here’s the inside made with the stamp set Bloomin’ Love and dies from retired Hearts Framelits.
As stampers we love to share so feel free to make this card your own.
There comes a time when we all need a Retirement card. I CASE’d this one from the Annual catalog for the stamp set Wild About Flowers. It’s a GREAT set for many occasions. Yes, it is flowers but I used Crumb Cake and the way I did it wasn’t too feminine. Well, at least our male friend loved it and was touched by a handmade card.
And the sentiment inside…
Stampin’ Up! products used:
Stamp Sets – Wild About Flowers, Gorgeous Grunge
Ink – Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Mint Macaron, Delightful Dijon
For those of you not familiar with CASE – it means Copy And Share Everything. All Stampin’ Up! demonstrators truly believe in this as does the company. We constantly share ideas, techniques and cards with each other. In the next few posts I’ll be sharing some of the cards I made by CASEing layouts or color schemes from fellow demonstrators. Most of the time we don’t make our cards identical to one we are CASEing but we always give credit to the person who inspired us.
Hope you like this card and you try CASEing some of the cards in the catalog or some you see on Pinterest.
We made this lovely Valentine card at our last class. It is made using Pink Pirouette and Rose Red Cardstock. The Bloomin’ Love heart and Be Mine Banner are heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. The Curvy Corner Trio Punch adds a decorative embellishment to the corners with the Whisper White Satin Ribbon. The Rose Red piece is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I love the White Satin Ribbon…anytime I see it on sale I buy a few! It is gorgeous ribbon.

I’m always looking for cute containers for candy and treats. I found this one on Connie Stewart’s blog.
This is so cute and easy! I used retired DSP but any of our NEW DSP will be awesome. I used the NEW Botanical Builder Framelits for the flowers. What a GREAT set! I made white “grass” and then put a cello bag of Dove hearts in each one. I gave each of my class attendees one as a little Valentine treat.
Here is Connie’s video tutorial on how to make this adorable treat holder.
My youngest granddaughter is turning 2 this week and she is totally in love with Mickey and Minnie Mouse so I came up with this card for her.
Here’s a view of the inside.
The cardstock, DSP, stamps (retired) and ink are all Stampin’ Up! but the dies are not…sorry! They are VERY old but I never could part with them because they are Mickey! I really wanted to share this card with you because I think it’s so cute! 🙂
These are fun to make and I think they are quite unique. We’ll be using a new set from the Occasions Catalog to make one of these next month in class.
