For You Valentine

I have another CASE’d card for you today. It is not identical to the one I CASE’d from my friend and upline, Peggy Noe, but she gave me a great layout.

For You Valentine 1

This card was fun and pretty easy. We made this in a special class I did for my retired teacher friends. They had a very good time and did a great job.

We embossed the background with the Happy Heart Embossing Folder, attached the doily and Real Red ribbon then adhered that piece to the Crumb Cake card. We stamped “for you” from the Birthday Blooms and punched out the four hearts with the Sweetheart Punch. The DSP came from the Love Blossoms Stack.

For You Valentine 2

Here’s the inside made with the stamp set Bloomin’ Love and dies from retired Hearts Framelits.

As stampers we love to share so feel free to make this card your own.

Happy  Stamping!

Wild About Flowers Retirement Card

There comes a time when we all need a Retirement card. I CASE’d this one from the Annual catalog for the stamp set Wild About Flowers. It’s a GREAT set for many occasions. Yes, it is flowers but I used Crumb Cake and the way I did it wasn’t too feminine. Well, at least our male friend loved it and was touched by a handmade card.

And the sentiment inside…

Stampin’ Up! products used:

Stamp Sets – Wild About Flowers, Gorgeous Grunge

Ink – Chocolate Chip, Crumb Cake, Mint Macaron, Delightful Dijon

Paper – Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla

Accessories – Labels Collection Framelits (Retired),  Piercing Pack

For those of you not familiar with CASE – it means Copy And Share Everything. All Stampin’ Up! demonstrators truly believe in this as does the company. We constantly share ideas, techniques and cards with each other. In the next few posts I’ll be sharing some of the cards I made by CASEing layouts or color schemes from fellow demonstrators. Most of the time we don’t make our cards identical to one we are CASEing but we always give credit to the person who inspired us.

Hope you like this card and you try CASEing some of the cards in the catalog or some you see on Pinterest.

Happy Stamping!

Sheltering Tree Valentine

I LOVE trees and the Sheltering Tree Stamp Set is a favorite of mine. Here’s what I made using it for a Valentine card.

Sheltering Tree Valentine 1

All the tree parts are from Sheltering Tree, the love and little hearts are from Hello Life Stamp Set.

Sheltering Tree Valentine 2

The Real Red cardstock in the background is dry embossed with the Happy Heart Embossing Folder. The white piece is popped up.

Sheltering Tree Valentine 3

The inside is made using Bloomin’ Love Stamp Set.

This card was a big hit at card class and it was so much fun to make.

I don’t think I’m finished with Valentine cards yet…so keep watching!

Happy Stamping!

Be Mine Valentine

Be Mine

We made this lovely Valentine card at our last class. It is made using Pink Pirouette and Rose Red Cardstock. The Bloomin’ Love heart and Be Mine Banner are heat embossed with White Embossing Powder. The Curvy Corner Trio Punch adds a decorative embellishment to the corners with the Whisper White Satin Ribbon. The Rose Red piece is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I love the White Satin Ribbon…anytime I see it on sale I buy a few! It is gorgeous ribbon.

Darling Treat Box

I’m always looking for cute containers for candy and treats. I found this one on Connie Stewart’s blog.

Treat Box

This is so cute and easy! I used retired DSP but any of our NEW DSP will be awesome. I used the NEW Botanical Builder Framelits for the flowers. What a GREAT set! I made white “grass” and then put a cello bag of Dove hearts in each one. I gave each of my class attendees one as a little Valentine treat.

Here is Connie’s video tutorial on how to make this adorable treat holder.

Awesome Candy Purse/Box – Video Tutorial

These are so cute I’m going to make some as little Easter baskets of candy for a spring craft fair.

See you tomorrow with new Weekly Deals!

Mickey Mouse Birthday Card

My youngest granddaughter is turning 2 this week and she is totally in love with Mickey and Minnie Mouse so I came up with this card for her.

Mickey Mouse Card 3

The cardstock, DSP, stamps (retired) and ink are all Stampin’ Up! but the dies are not…sorry! They are VERY old but I never could part with them because they are Mickey! I really wanted to share this card with you because I think it’s so cute! 🙂

Quick coloring with our Stampin’ Write Markers and you have a lovely design.

This is how the card lays flat for mailing and I added the same images on the envelope.

Rather than my trying to explain how to make this…here’s the video Julie Davison posted.

These are fun to make and I think they are quite unique. We’ll be using a new set from the Occasions Catalog to make one of these next month in class. Also, this is a great time to place your orders – it’s Sale-A-Bration time! Many customers look forward to Sale-A-Bration every year and stock up. While they do they earn free products. Check out the Sale-A-Bration brochure (right side bar).

If you have a lengthy list of items…consider purchasing the Starter Kit. During Sale-A-Bration you can order $155 worth of product for the usual $99 Starter Kit price. Plus…Free Shipping on your Starter order. You are not obliged in any way to have classes, workshops or even order. That’s how I started…just to get a discount on products! 🙂 I truly love the quality of the Stampin’ Up! products, the Customer Service and I have met so many wonderful demonstrators. I’d love to have you join me or have you take advantage of a great way to get more product for your money.
