Hello Stampers. Today I’m working with the stamp set Swirly Bird. I’m soooo happy that it will be staying with us for another year since I really haven’t explored all the things I can do with that set yet. I love the coordinating thinlits, Swirly Scribbles too.
I decided to make today’s design for my Mother’s Day card for my mom (who just turned 94 on May 4th). I always make very feminine and lacy ones for her so this is a change.
I think she will like this card (she likes all my cards anyway). I really like Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry together!
I just had to use these sentiments from the retired set called Wonderful Mother. I will never part with that set.
Instead of using rhinestones or pearls I tried the White Perfect Accents. They have not been retired so I’ll have more time to play with them.
Sorry about the green background. It looked good until I posted these photos and now I’m not too crazy about it. I’m always experimenting with the photo process.
Hope you are all happy and healthy. It seems there are some cold and stomach bugs around again. Take care of yourselves and …
Happy Mother’s Day to all you wonderful mothers. I’ll be so happy to see my mother and my daughter who is the fabulous mother of my three adorable grandchildren!
Here’s my special card…
I like using the Circle Card Thinlits because they are so unique. Once again you see the Botanical Builder Framelits!
Here’s another view…
Sorry about the brightness…it was a beautiful sunny day and I decided to take advantage of the photo opportunity. At least you can see how the circle flips to show a beautiful sentiment “To a Wonderful Mother”. Don’t you just love the front flower and how the petals pop up!
