Stepped Up Card

Hello Stampers. Today I have a card that I showed you a while back but I’ve stepped it up a bit. I sometimes mention how you can enhance my cards so I thought I’d practice what I preach. 🙂

This is the original card.

Nice but kind of blah. 

Now here’s the same card after I stepped it up.

I added our new Garden Trellis Embossing Folder, and the Scallop Trim Border Punch (R) with some Marina Mist Striped Organdy Ribbon (R). I also changed the Get Well sentiment from Crumb Cake to Marina Mist and added the stamp to the envelope. 

I’m very pleased with the end result.

There are many times when I create a card and I like it simple but then after I look at it for a while I’m not really satisfied. I remake many of them to “step” them up after my classes. I also get many ideas from my class participants. They have wonderful ideas! The more ideas the better the card!
