Yes, there are new Weekly Deals and more items on the Clearance Rack but…before I get to those I want to show you the NEW 2014-2015 Catalog.  Yesterday three of my fellow demonstrators and I drove to Long Beach, CA for the live Red Carpet Premiere of the new catalog.  What a wonderful event…fun, informative and exciting!  We got to see many of the new items in the catalog and even got quite a few gifts of new products.  I will share samples using some of those in future blog posts.

Easy Holder for Stampin’ Write Markers

I found an awesome, quick and easy way to store my markers rather than in a plastic pencil case from school!  Thanks to fellow demo Sam Donald (Pootles) in the UK.  She came up with this ingenious way of using our cardstock and DSP to hold our markers.  Some of us bought the markers in individual sets so we didn’t get the carrying case.  😦  Check this out:

Marker Caddy4

Marker Caddy3

This was my first attempt but I did make another for a friend.  Notice that the top layer is set back about an inch so it is easier to view the two layers of markers.  It’s very sturdy.

Reminder:  Always store your pens horizontally so the ink will flow evenly to both ends.  Also…you can refill your pens with our Classic Stampin’ Ink Refills.

Rather than go through the directions just click here and you will be able to view Pootles video.

Enjoy and Happy Stamping!

Huge News!

WOW…Stampin’ Up! does it again! Header_ProjectLife_April1514_ENG This is really exciting news!  I’m sure you have noticed that the scrapbooking industry has changed quite a bit in the past few years.  Many local scrapbook stores have closed their doors and the rise in digital scrapbooking has changed the way we view memory keeping. Becky Higgins has changed scrapbooking to fit into our lives with Project Life.  It’s a super simple, totally affordable way to get your photos into albums: you just slip your photos into Photo Pocket Pages and add designed cards. It’s a back-to-basics approach to documenting your life.  In a nutshell, it’s all about spending more time making memories and less time scrapbooking them. Sneek Peek Project Life.pictures Sneek Peek Project Life Becky has partnered with Stampin’ Up! to bring this wonderful scrapbooking format to us in exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors and designs. Be sure to mark your calendars for May 1st when you will be able to order Project Life by Stampin, Up!

So Very Grateful Easter

Today I have another Easter card we made at our last class.  The participants enjoyed using the Stampin’ Markers so I think I’ll be using them more often. Enjoy!

So Very Grateful Easter

At first I tried just stamping the corners with the Pistachio Pudding but then stamped all over and I really like this background.  I used Pistachio Pudding ink on Pistachio Pudding Paper. Just click on any of  the Stampin’ Up! products I used for details:

Doily and Eggplant Easter

Here is one of the Easter cards we made in our last class.  Each person got a bit creative with the placement of the flowers and even some colors.   That is what I love about getting a group together to make cards…the creativity comes out.
