July Class Card #2

Slush Flower Patch

The versatility of this set is amazing.  I must admit, I’m kind of hooked on those particular leaves though. This card is done with Strawberry Slush and Pink Pirouette…such a happy card!

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products I used:

Keep following since  I have one more Class Card to share and then another I made to show how you can change things up.  As I said…the designs are endless with this bundle!  You must have it!

Don’t forget to send me your own designs using this bundle and I’ll post your card as my guest stamper.

July Class Cards – Flower Patch Bundle

This month we concentrated on using only ONE stamp set and ONE set of Framelits.  I chose the Flower Patch Bundle.  It was a great hit and the designs and creations are endless.  Here is just the first of the three cards we made.  Actually, this first one is two 3×3 cards of different designs.

3x3 Flower Patch

The background was stamped flat (right onto the cardstock) and then the flowers were “popped” up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The stamped piece was then popped up onto the card.  These little 3×3 cards are great to have around to put on a gift or tuck into a pocket or lunch bag.

3x3 Purple Flower Patch

Here’s a close up of the first card.  Keep in mind that some embellishments can be added…for example…a rhinestone, pearl or Candy Dot in the middle of each flower.  You might want to cut out each leaf with the framelits.  Let your imagination go wild…this is just the start!

3x3 Yellow Flower Patch

Another close up.  This time the flower is done in Crushed Curry.

These are the basics…why don’t you try these and share how you “jazzed” them up.  Anyone who sends a photo of their 3×3 done with the Flower Patch stamp set to me will appear as a guest on my blog.  🙂  If you don’t have this set yet…just go to the Shop Now button or call me to place your order.

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products I used:  (I just noticed that I didn’t use the Bundle #…here it is: 136788 – by ordering the Bundle you can save 15%)

I’ll soon post the second card for July so keep following.  🙂

Happy Stamping!

July Blog 1

I needed a special birthday card for my childhood friend of 61 years. I love the new Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey so those colors were a must.  The new stamp set Age Awareness has this awesome greeting. I used White Craft Ink and the new Flowering Flourishes to stamp a background on the Blackberry Bliss cardstock.  The white Organza Ribbon adds just the right touch.  Of course the little flower from the new Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack punched out in Hello Honey put the final touch on this card.

Daydream Medallions Birthday Card

July is a very busy birthday month it seems.  I’ll be sharing some of the cards I’ve made for friends and family.

Daydream Medallions Birthday

This is a larger card than normal because I wanted to cut out the the pool party background.  The sentiment is retired but I will never let this one go – I love this font.

Daydream Medallions Birthday 2

This is a shot where I think you can see that I used the Big Shot and largest of the Floral Frames Framelits to cut out the shape on the Pool Party cardstock.  I did the stamping directly onto the card.  It’s simple but makes it’s own statement.

Enjoy!

Happy Stamping!
