Floral Beauty Abounds

Hello Stampers!

Today’s card has a unique background that you must try out. I used the Country Floral Embossing Folder but first inked it…what a great new look!

I think I may have too much brightness for you to really see how nice the background shows. It definitely looks better in person.

This shot is better but you still can’t see the raised flowers.

I guess photos just don’t do this card justice. Believe me…I took a bunch! Seriously…you need to try this to see how gorgeous it is.

I’ll try another card with a darker color ink to see if I can photograph the beauty of this inked embossing folder background. If you try it…send me a photo of your masterpiece!

Floral Note

Hello Stampers!

Today I am using the beautiful floral vellum from the Floral Romance DSP. It is just gorgeous. If you haven’t checked out that DSP, you should!

Isn’t this card just so attractive! I love it! Besides this vellum there is also another design which I will need to try out in a new creation. 🙂

I like to make envelope liners and usually forget. I’m using up retired DSP so I can’t tell you what pack the liner came from. Can you imagine using up all of your DSP! I keep trying but as I use some I buy new. Crafters dilema.

The punched out leaves and tiny flowers give the card depth. The oval is popped up with dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Flourishing Phrases

Ink – Mossy Meadow

Paper – Mossy Meadow, Whisper White, Petal Pink, Pear Pizzazz, Floral Romance DSP

Accessories – Pearls, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Bird Builder Punch (R), Itty Bitty Flower Punch (R), Mossy Meadow Ribbon

A little tip when using vellum. Put your adhesive where the dark spaces are – for example I put mine behind the leaves. You don’t really need to put adhesive on every side and corner.

I hope you’ll try making a card with vellum DSP…it is so lovely!

Until my next post…keep on stamping!

Happy Stamping….Donna

Lovely Lattice

Hello Stampers!

Today I have a beautiful card using the stamp set Lovely Lattice. It was a Sale-A-Bration set that is being carried over. It’s such a beautiful stamp!

I don’t usually use Cherry Cobbler and Black but it just worked for this card.

I LOVE our new Blends! They make coloring so easy and they blend perfectly. If you haven’t tried them yet then you must.
