Double Flap Gatefold Birthday Card

Hello Stampers! The card I’m showing you today was inspired by Connie Stewart and I think it is a fold I will use many times.

As both sides are flipped open the inside sentiment appears.

Very easy to make and looks so great.

After making the front greeting I punched another label in Poppy Parade, cut it in half vertically and trimmed it down then glued it to the sides of the white sentiment. I really like this technique…it gives the sentiment a little pop as well as using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Inspired Thoughts (NEW)

Ink – Garden Green

Paper – Petal Pink, Poppy Parade, Basic White, DSP – Berry Delightful

Accessories – Label Me Lovely Punch

I hope you enjoyed viewing this card. If you need measurements just send me an email and I’ll get those to you.

Until my next post…Happy Stamping!

Hang in There

Greetings dear Stampers! I fell in love with the new stamp set “Wild and Sweet” so I thought I’d share with you the card I created with the panda. My plan is to make cards featuring all three animals as a set.

I used new “In Color” cardstock and the fantastic Fabulous Frames Dies. What a great die set! Check it out.

Here’s a close up. You’ll notice I did some detail work to outline the panda and different parts of his face and body. I also did some creative work on the tree with Stampin’ Write Markers.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Wild and Sweet

Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper – Parakeet Party, Early Espresso, Basic White

Accessories – Stampin’ Up! Markers: Black, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake; Fabulous Frames Dies

If I were to make this card again I think I’d do some color on color leaves on the Parakeet Party background or some texture with an Embossing Folder.

Hope you enjoyed seeing my little panda friend card. Have a great week!

Until my next post…Happy Stamping!

Donna 🙂

Here for You

Hello dear Stampers! I’m hoping this post finds you happy and healthy!

Today I have a CASE from my upline, Peggy Noe, who CASE’d it from the catalog. None of the three cards are the same – just the basic idea. Never be concerned about copying someone else’s card, especially a Stampin’ Up! Demo. They LOVE it!

My dear cousin who is like a sister to me just lost her husband and I wanted to let her know I’m there for her and I’ll be going to stay with her for a week next week to help her out.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Color and Contour

Ink – Orchid Oasis, Polished Pink, Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper – Basic White

Accessories – Scalloped Contours Dies, Brushed Brass Butterflies, Blends – Highland Heather, Marker – Pear Pizzazz

Hope you like this card and you’ll look carefully through the new catalog to see if there are some cards you’d like to CASE (Copy and Share Everything).

Until my next post…Happy Stamping!

Tropical Fun

Hello Stampers! Today I have a card with a mix of NEW and old. I used the new Tahitian Tide cardstock with the retired Tropical Oasis DSP in a fun new fold. Hope you like it.

This is a double flip card and it’s soooo easy.

Here are the measurements:

Tahitian Tide – BASE – 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″; 2 3/4″ x 3 3/4″, score at 1/2″; 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″, score at 1/2″

Basic White – 5 1/4″ x 4″

DSP — 3″ x 3 1/2″; 3″ x 2 1/2″ (I used the back of this DSP for the smaller piece)

You can see that when you open both flaps you have a bit of room to write a note or stamp a sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Special Moments

Ink – Tahitian Tide

Paper – Tahitian Tide, Basic White, Tropical Oasis DSP

Accessories – Double Oval Punch, embellishments

Hope you will try this fold out…it’s fun.

Until my next post…Happy Stamping!
