Among my retired stash I found this adorable stamp set for Easter. The date on the stamps was 2000. I really liked it when SU put the dates on the labels of the stamps. When I see these old dates it makes me realize how long I’ve been stamping!
I let the color fuzz off the edges of the Memento Ink so that maybe it would look like fur. Hope it doesn’t look like I’m just terrible at coloring.
Here is a view a little closer in. Can you see the VERY gentle spatter around the bunnies? There was just too much white space and I really didn’t want to fill in too much. This did the trick for me.
There is also a flower grouping and chick with this set so I may work on a card using that. Stay tuned. 🙂

I dug up an Easter Stamp Set from 2000 so watch for a new creation using and “old” stamp coming soon.
This card was well received and I made extras for myself. The pink is actually embossed with the new Spring Flowers folder but it is difficult to see. We used Stampin’ Dimensionals for the border and the egg. That made the flowers stand out too.
This is the inside sentiment.
I don’t think I’m finished with Easter cards yet so you may see some new creations soon.
Remember…Sale-A-Bration ends March 31st! If you think you might have an order of $50 or more be sure to order on line or call me to place your order so you don’t miss out on a terrific choice of a FREE item.
Here’s the second in my Easter card series for this month’s classes. I used the PPA 244 as card #1.
The stamps used are from Indescribable Gift. This flower is so versatile. It can be stamped with no coloring or colored in to look splendid. I used Crisp Cantaloupe as the card since I love the 2013-2015 In Colors (leaving us the end of May so be sure to stock up on your favorite colors). I stamped “Easter Blessings” (single stamp from last year) on the inside with Crisp Cantaloupe using color on color. This card is clean and simple but the sentiment says it all.
One more card for this series of classes that I’ll share with you on Monday.
My take on this week’s sketch challenge. I love the 2013-2015 In Colors and I’ll be sad to see them go the end of May so I’m using them like crazy now. This is Strawberry Slush cardstock with dashes of the other colors in the flowers.
Do you see my Gardenia flower peeking behind the card. It’s been like summer here in San Diego so everything is in bloom.
Here’s a closer shot with not so much sunlight so you can see the colors better. 🙂
