Copper Floral Birthday

Hello Stampers! Here’s yet another card that was made up a year ago. I have two more after this one.

I used some DSP from an old SAB brochure.

You may remember this paper. I loved it and got 3 packages of it – therefore I had a LOT of extra. I cut out some separate flowers and leaves to give the card depth.

The inside sentiment is heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder and I added a small cut out flower.

I took this shot so you can see the dimensionals used and the layers. Not a difficult card but makes a nice impression.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Here’s A Card

Ink – Versa Mark

Paper – Basic White, Springtime Foils DSP (R), Copper Foil

Accessories – Embossing Buddy, Copper Embossing Powder, Heat Gun

This sketch can be made up with any of the new Floral DSP’s. It’s very versatile and can be used for almost any occasion.

Until next time…Happy Stamping!

Masculine Birthday

Hello Stampers! Are you having a good time getting out in the world again? As I mentioned I had my first classes in 16 months 2 weeks ago. Today I have another card we made…maybe two.

This card is very simple and would be a good card for a guy.

In this photo you can see that the cover of the card is narrower than the back and the sentiment overlaps.

This is such a nice clean card and can be used with any “masculine” DSP. The measurements are the same for a regular card but I cut off 3/4″ on the one side. The DSP is cut at 2 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and 2 pieces at 1/2″ x 5 1/2″. You can use any punch or dies for your sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Sets – Here’s A Card, Timeless Tropical

Ink – Pretty Peacock

Paper – Very Vanilla, Brightly Gleaming DSP, Pretty Peacock

Accessories – Rectangle Stitched Dies, Linen Tread

This is a nifty little card to whip up in a hurry and can be very dramatic or whimsical depending on the DSP you use. 🙂

Here’s another great card to use for the guys in your life.

HEXAGON BIRTHDAY

Super easy, super fun…like putting a puzzle together. 🙂

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Sets – Sending You Thoughts

Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper – Smokey Slate, Black, DSP 6 x 6

Accessories – 1 3/4″ Scalloped Circle Punch, Tailored Tag Punch

Once again…the whole look of this card changes with the DSP you use. A good way to use up scraps of old DSP that coordinate.

Hope you have a great week and keep on stamping!

Birthday Cake

Hello Stampers!

For the next few posts I’ll be sharing cards I made 16 months ago for my classes. I had all the kits ready to go before I went on the infamous cruise to South America in March of 2020! I FINALLY had in person classes last Friday and Saturday. It was wonderful to be with my friends and fellow stampers. Since I designed these cards so long ago you will see that many items are already retired 😦 but you can always use the format with new products!

By the way…I just put my pre-order in for the July – December ’21 Mini and Sale A Bration freebies. It will all go “live” to you on August 3, 2021.

Here’s todays card:

You probably remember that stamp and dies from the last Sale A Bration! 🙂

My lighting was off but you can see the beautiful embossing and the raised (with Stampin’ Dimensionals) flowers.

This is the inside sentiment! This is from a set so old it came on wood blocks that I converted to just red rubber. I love the sentiment and I will never part with it!

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Sets – Happy Birthday to You (R-SAB), Itty Bitty Greetings

Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper – Silver Foil, Basic White, Coastal Cabana

Accessories – Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder, Birthday Dies, Window Punch

The program is acting up so I’ll sign off. This was a quick post and I promise to send another as soon as I figure out what went wrong.

Happy Stamping!
