Acrylic Post It Holders

Acrylic Post it

Here’s a very easy way to jazz up a Post it pad. This is an acrylic photo frame. I decorated some DSP and slid it into the frame. Then I adhered a Post it pad with Fast Fuse and there you have it! These were good sellers at craft fairs.

Here’s a more masculine version:

These frames are horizontal but I also made some that were vertical. I like the horizontal ones better myself.

Do you have a lot of DSP scraps…go to your local Dollar Store, 99, or Big Lots…you can get the frames for $1.00. I buy the Post it pads in bulk at Costco.

Don’t forget to check out the Clearance Rack and make sure you order the retiring items you want from the Holiday Catalog. You may find many of the items are already SOLD OUT. I promise to post the Weekly Deals first thing tomorrow morning too.

As of January 5th….Sale-A-Bration and the NEW Occasions catalog will launch.

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I enjoyed my three grandchildren soooo much. I’m going to Legoland with them tomorrow! I’ll be exhausted by the end of the day but a good exhaustion!

Happy Stamping!

Hanukkah Card

Hannukkah Medallion 2015

Hanukkah Medallion 2015 Inside

Here is the Hanukkah card I made for some of my Jewish friends. I needed to use the retired stamp set Jewish Celebrations since we really didn’t have a good alternative in the current Holiday Catalog. Hopefully next year Stampin’ Up! will offer a really good Hanukkah stamp set. I’ll probably still use this set since I really like it. 🙂

I used Night of Navy Cardstock and ink, Silver Embossing Powder and White Cardstock. Very simple but quite elegant.

Luckily I remembered that Hanukkah is early this year so these cards will arrive in time.

Hope you are all taking it easy and not letting all the hustle and bustle of Christmas preparation wear you out. Remember the true meaning of Christmas and it’s not the presents that count.

I’ve ushered for the “Grinch” twice now and one more time on the 22nd so that song about the presents not counting and that the Whoos celebrated without all the presents, decorations and food anyway keeps playing in my head.

Stay calm and Happy Stamping!
