Christmas Stockings

Hello my dear Stampers!  Have you been super busy with all the hustle and bustle of this wonderful season?  The November Paper Pumpkin was just so darling…but I decided to do it my way.

I added initials for each member of the family coming to Christmas dinner…then ran each stocking through the Big Shot with the Cable Knit Embossing Folder.

Then I added the tags with last years red “ribbon” and a sprig of leaves from the new leaf punch.

I filled each stocking with a lip balm and either bubble gum for the kids or candy for the adults…oh, everyone also got a candy cane. These will be at each person’s place at the table.

I had so much fun making these and I hope everyone will enjoy them on Christmas Day.

Slow down and enjoy the season…stay healthy!

Happy Stamping!    Donna

Patchwork Christmas

Hello Stampers!  Today’s card is made with the Quilt Builder Framelits. I REALLY like this set of dies and the matching stamp set. I have so many friends who are quilters that this set will be used over and over in so many different ways.

This is another card we made in our Christmas Card Class and I made about 20 myself…this is one of my cards I’m sending to friends and family. I actually made enough extras of each of the Christmas Card Class examples to fill my own personal card list. Yay!

Sorry about the deep colors…I’m trying out a new editing app since PicMonkey no longer offers FREE editing. I need to work with this new one to get the hang of it.

We had so much fun with this card. We actually die cut each piece then put it back together to glue it into the frame of the patchwork. Trust me…we learned that isn’t necessary…you can just die cut the DSP, die cut the black frame, adhere frame over DSP and you’re done. Why didn’t I think of that when I was creating this card!!!

The extra touch of holly leaves really adds to this design.

I LOVE this sentiment…what it says and the font.

This inside sentiment is from a retired stamp set called Versatile Christmas. I find that after the Holiday Catalog ends we never see some of our favorite stamp sets or dies again. Don’t let that happen to you…if you really like something in the Holiday Catalog then buy it BEFORE January 2, 2018
