Free As A Bird Get Well

Hello Stampers. This is the last Get Well Card for a while…next I’ll have 3 sympathy cards for you.

I really like this stamp set “Free As A Bird”.  It comes as a Bundle with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. Both are so useful!

This card is so easy and so delicate. I love the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder…it just adds the touch of texture and feel of the tree.

When I cut the first Stitched Nested Label out of the Seaside Spray cardstock I saved it to use on the inside for my sentiment. No wasted paper! 🙂

I love my Stampin’ Blend Pens for the coloring. You get a great watercolor look quickly.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Free As A Bird

Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper – Blueberry Bushel, Seaside Spray, Whisper White

Accessories – Stitched Nested Labels, Layered Leaves Embossing Folder, Blender Pens

Try this card out. I have given you a basic card – add some ribbon, twine and embellishments and you will have an awesome card. Don’t reject any card because it is too plain…you can always “jazz” it up!

I’ll have another new stamp set and my first sympathy card in the next post.

Until next time…Happy Stamping!

Donna 🙂

Double Fun Fold Get Well

Hello Stampers.

Another Get Well card for you. I really like the way this card turned out.

My oval just has flowers but all the gals in my classes got birds from the Bird Ballad DSP. I cut them out after tracing to be sure I got as many as possible. I love this pack of DSP.

The front flap opens to reveal this sentiment.

Open the second flap to start to see the second sentiment.

And there it is fully opened.

I love this fold. It can be used with so many different occasions, colors and themes.

Get Well Tissue

Hello Stampers!

Since we are into the allergy season as well as summer colds I thought this would be a cute card to have on hand to send to a friend or relative.

Isn’t this the cutest thing you’ve seen? I used the Envelope Punch Board to make the little pocket – 5 x 5 card starting at 2 3/8. I cut off the top flap. That’s a real tissue too.

I really love this card. This is also a good masculine card too. After all…they get sick too! 🙂

I must confess…when I prepped all these photos I had not had my eyes checked. Well…it turned out I needed stronger lenses. I can NOW see that these are a bit out of focus. I have 5 more cards photographed and I don’t plan on re-doing all those photos. So…hopefully in the near future you will see clearer photos! Fingers crossed! 🙂

With much sadness Lovely As A Tree Stamp Set has been retired. 😦  But…I still love it and here is a birthday card tribute to this awesome stamp set.

Simple but elegant! I LOVE using the Blender Pens – they make every card so much better.

The Layered Leaves Embossing Folder adds a bit of depth.

Bridge Card Retirement

Hello Stampers!

Today I have a really cute Bridge Card that I decided to use for a retirement card but it can be used for just about anything.

The best part about this card is that it folds down easily to fit into an envelope.

Originally I just had the solid background but one of the ladies in my class suggested another stem of leaves so we all added that to give the card more appeal.

You can’t really tell but we also used Wink of Stella on the flowers.

Stamp Sets – Falling Flowers, Wild About Flowers

Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper – Powder Pink, Whisper White, Berry Burst, Fresh Florals DSP
