Floral Touches of Texture

Hi fellow stampers!

Today’s card is one you can use for any occasion. It’s bright and cheery.

Floral Touches of Texture 1

I used a bit of texture on the background as well as the specs on the white piece. Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight really spark up a card.  Here’s a close up.

You can see the background a little better.

Well, I was happy about this but felt there was something missing and it wasn’t bling this time. So, I filled in the flowers with Pink Pirouette and I felt like the flowers really blossomed!

I decided I just didn’t like the white space on this card.

You may have noticed that I also changed the background on the Daffodil delight card. This was color on color but I think the flower shows better than the other.

I love this set because it was made to not fit in the lines. Of course, I tried. That was my kindergarten training so many years ago…color in the lines.
