I love receiving my Paper Pumpkin each month and I’m sure you will too!
The Paper Pumpkin elves have done it again this month. This kit is absolutely super. I sat down the evening after receiving it and couldn’t stop until I made all nine (9) cards. Yes, that’s correct – NINE cards!
Here is the Happy Birthday version. Three of these included. Love those stick on greetings. There is also a stamp for the inside sentiment. I used the leftover sticky paper from the lettering to punch out stars for the envelopes. You’ll see them better in the other photos.
Here’s the Hello card with it’s own sentiment inside. Another group of three. Now you can see the punched out stars better.
Last three cards are Thank You cards.
Each of these cards have a very clever shaker so that the tiny stars and sequins move around. Love it!
If you haven’t tried Paper Pumpkin yet…what are you waiting for? Are you stumped on a last minute gift or you might want to hint that YOU would really like a subscription. In any event…try it – at least for three months. You manage it yourself so you can stop the subscription when you want. I only ask that you declare me as your SU demo. 🙂

What a GREAT gift for someone or yourself…check it out!
Have I already told you how great the November Paper Pumpkin is? Well, not only did the kit have 8 awesome cards but 12, yes, one dozen fantastic Gift Tags!
Here is what it looks like closed. Great, huh! The directions suggested putting the To and From on the right but that didn’t seem correct to me since there was no room to write the names. Well, you can see a tiny bit of From on my version because I stamped To From on the left. It doesn’t bother me. 🙂
Here is the tag open. Cool! I love them!
Seriously think about subscribing to Paper Pumpkin. You can ask for the subscription as a gift!
I’ve been busy making Christmas Cards…lots of CASEing going on. Why reinvent the wheel when there are sooooo many ideas out there. Watch for future posts of Christmas Cards!
I just received my November Paper Pumpkin yesterday and I am totally in love with this set. Stampin’ Up hit it out of the park with this one. I made the cards first thing this morning because I thought I’d sell them at the Craft Fair tomorrow but now I’m thinking they are so cute I just might want to keep them!
Here’s what the card looks like and the matching snowflake punch out for the envelope. Tip: The punch outs for the envelope do not have adhesive so I ran them through my Xyron…super easy and no glue mess.
Close up of this super card. There are a lot of steps but so worth it.
Here’s a view peeking inside. All the stamps were included with Lost Lagoon ink.
This shows the inside and sentiment attached with Washi Tape 🙂 Large Rhinestones were included but I decided to use stars punched out in Silver Glimmer Paper to make the mailing easier.
I followed the directions pretty much as pictured and I’m quite happy with the results.
If you have been thinking about subscribing to Paper Pumpkin – do it! The kits have improved greatly since they were first introduced. I actually dropped my own subscription after the first few months then I saw the huge improvement and started back up again. Haven’t been disappointed at all.
Paper Pumpkin would make a wonderful gift for someone you know. Click on the image for enlargement and some details.
The great thing is that you manage your own Paper Pumpkin account once you sign up through me. Once you place your order you will receive an email to guide you through the set up with your redemption code. If you are giving a subscription as a gift then you give the redemption code to the recipient.
Give Paper Pumpkin a try – I’m sure you will be pleased. A craft surprise arrives in your mailbox every month!
I know I have been talking about how great Paper Pumpkin is in my classes and on my blog…but really…it is! The kit comes complete with everything you need right to your own mailbox! I made up the cards in the August PP last night in about 30 minutes and ONLY used what materials were in the box.
Here’s what arrived:
It’s difficult to see but Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots were included. Those rose colored items are sequins, the little silver pieces are the brads for the envelopes and Bakers Twine for closing the envelopes. As usual, a Color Spot, directions and Photopolymer stamps were also included (in your first kit you will receive a block).
Within 30 minutes…here’s what I made:
And…the most surprising thing is that here is what was left…enough to make 8 more cards using my own cardstock & envelopes:
NOW is the time to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin! You get 50% off your first two months if you do the monthly subscription by September 10 (after that date the kits will keep coming for only $19.95 a month if you choose). There is no risk since you manage your own Paper Pumpkin account. If for any reason you want to stop your subscription after your first two months you do it yourself.
Another advantage to subscribing to Paper Pumpkin is that you will be notified when back kits or replacement kits are available. I actually ordered two more replacement kits for the July Paper Pumpkin – I’ll show you in a future blog post.
