Valentine Lots to Love Box

Hello Stampers!  We’re getting close to Valentine’s Day so I have some cards to use for Valentines or Birthday.

This adorable box has the greeting “happy valentine’s day” and the mini card is for a birthday card on a package. I like to give the ladies in my classes the option of the special holiday as well as birthday or general.

These darling boxes are so easy to make using the die from the Lots to Love Box Framelits. Just add some DSP, some accessories and sentiment and you have a very cute box.

We made little greeting cards too, using the Whisper White Narrow Note Cards and Envelopes. You can make a set of 4 to slip into the box. We also made gift tags but I am not posting those.

These cards are so handy. Great to put on a gift package!

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Sets – Teeny Tiny Wishes, Birthday Blossoms

Ink – Berry Burst

Paper – Berry Burst, Fresh Florals DSP, Whisper White

Accessories – Ribbon, Lots to Love Box Framelits, Duet Banner Punch, Everyday Label Punch  (held over from the Holiday Catalog)

Hope you enjoyed this cute little box and ideas for contents. I’ve been trying to come up with a candy to put inside. It needs to be flat…maybe a couple Ghirardelli Squares. Please contact me if you think of other items to fit in this little box.

Happy Stamping!        Donna

Quilted Thank You

Hello Stampers…we’ve had lovely weather here in San Diego. Hope you are all well and staying healthy!

You know how much I like the Quilt Builder Framelits…well…they aren’t just for Christmas! Today’s card is a Thank You card highlighting the Quilt Builder Framelits and the Quilt Top Embossing Folder.

I know I’ve been stuck on Night of Navy but I love the combination with Lemon Lime Twist and Marina Mist.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Sets – Thoughtful Banners, Floral Phrases

Ink – Night of Navy

Paper – Lemon Lime Twist, Night of Navy, Marina Mist

Accessories – Quilt Builder Framelits, Quilt Top Embossing Folder, Rhinestones, Duet Banner Punch

This card may look complicated but it’s not with the help of the Quilt Builder Framelits…and guess what…both the framelits and the stamp set, Christmas Quilt, are being held over! So…you can still order them. To see what else is being held over check my January 16 or 23 Newsletter for the complete list. If you do not receive my Weekly Newsletter then definitely contact me to get added to my email list. (Contact info. is on the upper right side of this post.)

Hope you enjoyed today’s card and keep checking for other new and exciting creations.

Happy Stamping!      Donna 🙂

Washi Congrats

Hello Stampers…today I’m using a bit of Washi Tape to make a congratulations card.

I’m not big on torn Washi so I cut all my pieces. That’s the great thing about cardmaking…you make it the way you want. I have really been using the Balloon Bouquet Punch a great deal…it makes such festive balloons.

That bit of Silver Washi Tape is now retired but it just fit this card so perfectly I had to use it.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Thoughtful Banners

Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper – Tip Top Taupe, Melon Mambo, Black, Silver Foil, Whisper White

Accessories – Duet Banner Punch, Balloom Bouquet Punch, White Bakers Twine, Pop of Pink Washi Tape, Silver Washi Tape

By popping up the balloons and the banner with Stampin’ Dimensionals the card has depth. If you have a bunch of Washi Tape laying around you really should keep it handy and add a strip or two or more to your next card. I had forgotten all about how Washi Tape adds to a card.

This is a great card to use for either male or female. I like that since I really don’t make many masculine type cards.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card and will try to make some cards using Washi Tape. Remember…once you create your own card, send me a photo via email and you could be my next Guest Stamper!

Until my next post…Happy Stamping!

Thinking of You in Love and Affection

I’m really enjoying the Love & Affection stamp set. This card has a bit of fussy cutting but so worth it.

Thinking of You in Love & Affection 2

I used DSP to stamp these flowers – I like the effect. I think the retired Candy Dots also add to this card. I love those dots too bad they are retired. (I still have a nice stash of them!)

I’m also getting a lot of use out of the Duet Banner Punch. Using the two with the larger in a different color really gives the message a punch. (No pun intended.)

The touch of Calypso Coral on those little background flowers really pop. I’m very pleased with how this card came out.

Products Used:

Stamp Sets – Love & Affection, Teeny Tiny Wishes

Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black, Wild Wasabi, Calypso Coral

Paper – Whisper White, Black, Wild Wasabi, DSP (R)

Accessories – Duet Banner Punch, Candy Dots (R)

Hope you enjoyed my creation.

Happy Stamping!

Sending a Smile in Love and Affection

Here’s a card you can use for almost any occasion. The theme for last months cards was Get Well but I just put a simple phrase on the front and left the inside blank so I can add something later or put a handwritten message inside.

Sending a Smile with Love and Affection 1

Love the screen look from the Touches of Texture Set. It makes a great background.

Sending a Smile with Love and Affection 2

This close up shows how I slightly curved each flower and leaf. Yes, I did do some fussy cutting on this one. I used Melon Mambo with our new Sweet Sugarplum and I love the combination. The Rhinestones and the silver cord from last year add just a touch of sparkle. The new Duet Banner Punch really makes the sentiment stand out.

Products used:

Stamp Sets – Love and Affection, Touches of Texture

Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper – Whisper White, Black, Melon Mambo, Sweet Sugarplum

Accessories – Rhinestones, Silver Cord, Duet Banner Punch

Hope you enjoyed today’s card. I got some great ideas from the friend I was visiting in NC and I hope to show you some soon.

Happy Stamping!
