Christmas Gift Card Holder Cards

Hello dear stampers! I promised I’d post some gift card holder cards and finally here they are! I’m going to share all six cards even though Christmas 2019 has passed you can save these ideas for next year. I won’t go into details but if you are interested in how to construct one of more of these cards just send me a message.

This one sort of pops out of the pocket flap.

Of course these folds can be used for any occasion but I did a class on just Christmas Gift Card Holder Cards and we made these six.

Hope you enjoyed seeing these creations.

Have a very Happy and Prosperous New Year!

Plaid Cheers

Hello Stampers!

This is my last Christmas card – but never fear – I have six gift card holder cards coming up for you!  This is the card I made to send. I really like it but I it was a lot of work because there were many steps. Well worth the time and effort though!

Sorry a bit blurry…happens when I change the size.

The sentiment is heat embossed in white. The trees are “popped” up with dimensionals.

There’s another plaid tree inside with the sentiment. You can also see the subtle effect from the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. That layer was also popped up. With all these layers you’d think I would have to pay extra postage but I took them to the post office and they passed with normal postage!

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Frosted Joy and Frosty Christmas

Hello Stampers!  Today’s Christmas cards are soooo easy to make and so elegant. The Feels Like Frost 6×6 DSP is amazing…another one that I went through 2 packs!

Gotta love that Glimmer paper! There are so many things you can do with The Frosted Frames Dies…this is just the basic.

Now you can really see the glimmer and sparkle! The background is from the Feels Like Frost DSP – one side is a scene and the other is shiny white with silver features. Beautiful!

Paper – Whisper White, Night of Navy, Sparkle Glimmer Paper, Feels Like Frost 6×6 DSP

Here’s another card using the Feels Like Frost DSP!

I found this fold but in a larger size so I reduced it to make a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card. Again, another quick and easy card. I should have made this one for my 50 cards but I decided on the next blog post card instead…a lot more work!

All the sentiments came from the stamp set Merry Christmas to All. Great set!

Christmas Plaid

Hello Stampers! Another Christmas Card for you.  I have three more to post.  I’m also hoping to post six different gift card holder cards.  Once the weekend hits I know I’ll be crazy busy. My 11 year old granddaughter will be with us from Friday after school until she goes home with her family on Christmas Day. I know she will want to make cards, bake cookies and we’ll also try to squeeze in a little school work.

I fell in love with the Wrapped in Plaid 6 x 6 DSP! Between classes and making my own cards I went through two packs!

There’s the gold oval I cut out from the last card!

And again there’s the Perfectly Plaid stamp set! Plaids are so “in” this year.

If you still need cards – this is a quick and easy card to put together. The Gold Foil and Gold Metallic Pearls add to the whole look.

God’s Peace

Hello stampers! Today’s card is a bit religious. I fell in love with this stamp set.

I actually cut a large oval out of the center of the Gold Foil paper and used it on the next card. I guess you’d say I’m a frugal stamper! 🙂 The Blends were perfect for coloring this card. Next time I think I’ll stamp the image and heat emboss…I think it would pop more.

A peek into the inside sentiment – also from the same stamp set, God’s Peace.  Please excuse the black smudge. This was my sample for card class and it got a bit messed up. That will teach me to take photos BEFORE I use in class.

This beautiful sentiment just made this card complete! Again…I think heat embossing would really make this card elegant. Next time. 🙂

Christmas Cheer

Hello dear stampers!  Yikes, it has been a long time since I posted. My husband and I were traveling during Oct. – Nov., then I was getting ready for Thanksgiving, then I was having issues transferring photos and finally I’m here!

I will bombard you with Christmas cards for the next few days.

I used the Dashing Along DSP and the Perfectly Plaid stamp set plus one of my favorite dies…Stitched Labels Dies. I was really pleased at the way this card turned out.

On the inside I used the Perfectly Plaid stamp set in Garden Green ink.

Here’s a close up of the inside.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Perfectly Plaid

Ink – Garden Green

Paper – Cherry Cobbler, Dashing Along DSP, Whisper White

Accessories – Stitched Labels Dies

If you like this card…make one up and store it away for next year (if you’re already finished with your cards for this year). I do that when I see new ideas then I’m always surprised when next year comes along and I already have a head start.

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas and Holiday Season!
