Daisy Lane Smile

Hello Stampers! Today I’m using the Daisy Lane Stamp Set. You can do so much with this set, it’s great.

Isn’t this so pretty! I did get the idea for this card when browsing through Pinterest but I didn’t write down who it was so…whoever you are…thank you! 🙂

Now that I own the new 3D Subtles Embossing Folder I would use that as my background embossing.

With the simple “Smile” this card can be used for almost any occasion.

Those brown specs you see are not a mistake. They are a sprinkle of color.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Sets – Daisy Lane, Birthday Wishes

Ink – So Saffron, Soft Suede, Mint Macaron, Shaded Spruce

Paper – So Saffron, Very Vanilla, Mint Macaron

Accessories – Daisy Punches Small & Medium, Elegant Dots Embossing Folder, Gold Faceted Gems, Blender Pen, Aqua Painter

There are just so many pretty daisies you can make with this stamp set and the coordinating punches. You will be seeing a lot of daisies for a while. 🙂

Hope you enjoyed today’s card!  Until my next post…Happy Stamping!     Donna

File Folder Card

Hello Stampers! Sorry I’ve been slacking on my Blog posts. I’ll try to make it up to you with two posts this week. 🙂

Today I have one of my favorites…a file folder card.

You use the Envelope Punch Board which is now on Clearance for $12. What a deal! I’ll never part with my Envelope Punch Board! I’ll give you all the measurements and directions.

The insert holds your sentiment or handwritten greeting.

Measurements:

Base – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, score in half on long side. Trim off some of the card front (about 3/4″ to 1″) at top.  In my photo I cut off more because I wanted the insert to show. Use Tear and Tape to hold the sides together to form a pocket.

DSP – to cover the front panel and a strip on top of pocket.

Coordinating Cardstock to go with the DSP

Punch Board – line up the left side with the hole and punch, move to 3″ and punch, cut off the paper to the right. Adhere the DSP and trip to match the notch.

The inside measure 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ cardstock, and Very Vanilla or Whisper White measures 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Itty Bitty Greetings

Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black

Paper – Very Vanilla, any color cardstock with matching DSP

Accessories – Envelope Punch Board, Very Vanilla Ribbon

Here’s another look at the one I made…

You can actually make this card any number of ways. You can punch tabs on both sides, tab on left, tab on right, and same size for both front and back. This is a fun one to experiment with.

This card would also be great for sticking in a gift card…think about some Christmas DSP and make some of these.

I hope you will try out the File Folder Card and let me know how it goes or better yet, send a photo and I’ll  post it on my Blog.

Until my next post…Happy Stamping!    Donna

Waterfront Friend Card

Hello Stampers! Have you enjoyed browsing through the new Holiday Catalog? I’ve put in 3 orders because I keep finding items I must have. 🙂 You will find the catalog in my last post and also at the side bar.

I fell in love with the Waterfront stamp set and just had to make a card for one of my classes. So…here it is!

The sky is actually a very light Balmy Blue using some sponging. It’s so easy to get this watercolor effect with these stamps.

You can see the sky a bit better in this shot.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Waterfront

Ink – Crumb Cake, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Black

I hope you enjoyed seeing this card as much as I enjoyed creating it! Be adventurous…there are so many ways to use this great set.

Until my next post…Happy Stamping!     Donna 🙂
