Here’s one more REALLY quick to make for Father’s Day. I borrowed the format from my upline, Peggy Noe.
This is an easy card to make and you can use some retired DSP and cardstock.
I used the center from my Stitched Rectangle frame on the front to have a space to write a “love note” to Dad inside.
Stampin’ Up! Products Used:
Stamp Set – Thoughtful Banners
Ink – Fresh Fig
Paper – Tranquil Tide , Fresh Fig, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Tranquil Textures DSP
Accessories -Stitched Rectangles Dies, Leaf Punch
I hope that you all enjoy Father’s Day with your fathers, grandfathers, uncles and whoever is an important man in your life. Our fathers have passed and our son in law is deployed so we will celebrate my husband with our daughter and grandchildren and remember the good times we had with our fathers.
Take care and Happy Stamping! Donna
Just a quick look at a great Father’s Day card using a NEW stamp set called A Good Man and the wonderful new die set – Stitched Nested Labels.
This set is a real keeper. I love it!
Sorry this came out so blurry…I’m hurrying to get this posted and I think I zoomed in too much. You can still read the sentiment and it’s just perfect!
I’ll try to get one more Father’s Day card posted tomorrow.
Until my next post…Happy Stamping! Donna
Happy Monday Stampers! Today I have a guest stamper, Ann Parmley. She was a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator many, many years ago and has come back to stamping (not as a demo). She is graciously sharing her cards with us.
This is the Birthday card she made for her mom. Her ice cream looks so real! She used Cool Treats Stamp Set and Frozen Treats Framelits.
This staggered look is very popular now…very cool.
This one is a winner in my book! She used the Window Box Thinlits and Nailed It from the Occasions Catalog. Isn’t it just great! This one is for her dad for Father’s Day.
I forgot to mention…Ann is my cousin and I’m so happy she is stamping again. I hope we’ll see more of her great work.
You too can be a guest stamper…just send me nice clear photos via my email.
See you on Friday with a card and bookmark I made for my granddaughter for her birthday. Until then, Happy Stamping!
I spent the day working on several Paper Pumpkin Kits including the adorable “Lovely Little Wreath”. It is so cute. I’m giving this one to my mom to hang on her apartment door.
My Paper Pumpkin is perfect for a quick project or stack of cards. Every month you get a surprise and the kit includes everything you need to complete the project.
I had a bunch of odds and ends left so I decided to make Father’s Day cards for my grandchildren to send to their dad who is serving in Okinawa for a year. You’ll notice they are quite simple since I wanted them to look like cards a child might make. I usually have the children make their own but we are short on time and I’m not sure when they will be at my house.
I used retired DSP and the stamp is from a past Paper Pumpkin kit.
I actually used the leftover leaves from the wreath on this one.
I used the new Swirly Scribbles Thinlits for this card along with retired DSP and a Paper Pumpkin stamp set. I wasn’t so sure about this bundle at first but now I’m crazy about what you can do with the Swirly Bird stamp set and these Thinlits!
Once in a while you need to go through all your stamp sets to see what you have and forgot about. I have been saving all the Paper Pumpkin stamp sets and I found some real treasures today.
I’m expecting a bunch of new products from the new catalog so as soon as they arrive I will need to get busy creating. Hope to have another post soon.
