Poinsettia Blessings

Hello Stampers! I LOVE today’s Christmas card. It’s just so elegant but not difficult at all.

I actually cut the poinsettias out from the Poinsettia Place DSP and layered them. The bit of gold leaf is from…you guessed it…my favorite Forever Gold Laser Cut DSP! That is gold foil on the left. I used Wink of Stella over the yellow stamen. Unfortunately it doesn’t show in the photo.

Here’s the inside sentiment done with Gold ink. The sentiment comes from Dove of Hope Stamp Set.

Here’s a close up of the cut out poinsettias.

I need to decorate the envelope but I haven’t decided what to do with it yet.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

This card comes together quickly if you enjoy fussy cutting. As a former teacher I love fussy cutting!

Winter Wonderland

Hello Stampers! Hope you are all staying safe. There are so many tragedies going on now…hurricanes and fires. When will this all end! Remember to keep those touched by these disasters in your thoughts and/or prayers.

I’m still on a Christmas card kick…I have one more after this already done. I’ll need to get going on some new designs. LOL

This card is sort of like an easel fold – very easy!

Base  – 5 1/2 x 11  score at 4 1/4, 7, 9 3/4    Fold in accordion fold

DSP for panels (can be different as I did) – 1 x 5 1/4; 2 1/2 x 5 1/4; 2 1/2 x 5 1/4; 4 x 5 1/4

Here’s what it looks like…

You can put a greeting or write notes on each panel.

Holly Greeting

Hello Stampers!

I thought I’d start making some Halloween cards but I checked my stash and I already have so many made I decided to go back to Christmas cards.

I really like holly and I decided to use the NEW Joyful Holly Stamp Set.

This card is simple but I love the way it turned out. That touch of gold foil is actually the frame around the Forever Gold Laser Cut DSP. I try not to waste a thing! LOL

Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce cardstock go so well together.

This inside greeting came from the stamp set Greatest Part of Christmas and the additional touch of holly makes the inside sentiment special.

This little greeting comes from the Joyful Holly Stamp Set and it’s just perfect in the circle. You could also use this to make gift tags. I used the ‘Tis the Season DSP for the envelope and behind the circle sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Sets – Joyful Holly, Greatest Part of Christmas (R)

Ink – Memento Tuxedo Black, Garden Green, Real Red

Paper – Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce, Whisper White, ‘Tis the Season DSP, Forever Gold Laser Cut DSP

Accessories – Layering Circles Dies, Real Red Ribbon

Hope you enjoyed this card. If you prefer to make several cards all the same – this card is a winner! I usually do mass production Christmas cards because I’m usually doing them later. This is a great card if you need to make a lot in a hurry. I’m thinking about making a few more of these myself. 🙂

Until my next post….Happy Stamping!   Stay safe and healthy!                 Donna

Hanukkah 2020

Hello Stampers! Today I have a card for Hanukkah since we have several Jewish friends and like to send them greetings.

Once again you can see I’ve used the Gold Foil Laser Cut DSP. I really like that paper! I also used the NEW Lovely Labels Pick A Punch.

Here’s the inside sentiment.

I also made a different color version. It has the same inside sentiment. Right now the envelopes are plain but I plan to come up with some little decor for the envelopes. 🙂

I used Night of Navy, Fabulous Foil DSP and Night of Navy ink on this one.

I’m thinking about working on some Halloween cards. Until next week…Happy Stamping!     Donna
