Envelope Gift Card Holder

Hello Stampers! Today I have a really cool way to make a gift card holder using a medium envelope. Once again I got the idea from Dawn Griffith.

This looks like a normal card…right!

Ok…still no WOW…

Very cool…right! You can slip a gift card or small gift into the pocket formed by the envelope. I love this!

Check out Dawn Griffiths video for details. She explains it so much better than I would! 🙂

I loved her sample so much I made one like it!

Love, love, love this technique! Watch Dawn’s video a few times and you’ll find it isn’t that difficult. We did this in class and no one had a problem with it, and they loved it.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card! See you next Friday with some new ideas. My 10 year old granddaughter is staying with us this week and she’s going to town with her cards. I wish I had taken a photo of the Get Well card she made for her other grandmother. We mailed it right away – but it was awesome! The Stamparatus is her BEST FRIEND!

Until next week…Happy Stamping!  Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays!     Donna

Glimmer Merry Christmas

Hello Stampers!

Today I have one last Christmas Card idea for you. Another one that is quick and easy.

Remember my tip:  make some extra cards now for next year!

Once again a very simple but stunning card. Some Christmas DSP for background and some Red Glimmer Paper and you are all set. The Merry Christmas Thinlits are fantastic…look how beautiful the lettering is. Those little Silver Foil stars add just an extra touch of bling.

This sentiment came from Star of Light Stamp Set as well as the clusters of stars done in silver ink.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Star of Light

Ink – Cherry Cobbler, Silver

Paper – Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Festive Farmhouse DSP, Glimmer Red, Silver Foil

Accessories:  Merry Christmas Thinlits, Star Punch

I hope you enjoyed my weekend of Christmas Card ideas. Eight days left until the “Big Day”.

Look forward to a new post next Friday…until then…Happy Stamping!     Donna

“Merry” Christmas Card

Hello Stampers! Today I have another Christmas Card for you. This is a quick card to make.

That delicate label came from the Stitched Labels Framelits. Great die set! I must admit I used a retired embellishment but the new Snowflakes and Stars Wire Elements would look super.

Isn’t this sentiment great! It comes from the Stamp Set Merry Christmas to All. So all this card needs is one stamp set and one die! Add some DSP, ribbon and an embellishment and there you go.

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Merry Christmas to All

Ink – Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow

Paper – Whisper White, Festive Farmhouse DSP

Accessories – Cherry Cobbler Ribbon, Linen Thread, Embellishment Charms, Stitched Labels Framelits

This is a lovely and quick card to make – for all those last minute cards you need. It’s also a great card to use up your small pieces of Christmas DSP. It wouldn’t hurt to make some extra cards now for next year…that will give you a head start and believe me…it makes you feel good when next year rolls around. 🙂

One more Christmas card idea tomorrow…until then…Happy Stamping!     Donna

Sparkling Poinsettia

Hello Stampers!  It’s been a while since I last posted but I’m back with some Christmas cards. I know it’s getting late but you can do it! The other day I made 10 cards in about 2 hours. It’s actually quite easy when you do assembly line work. 🙂

Today’s card is my favorite for this year. It looks like a lot of work but with the dies it is pretty fast.

The red cut out is done all in one swipe so that’s pretty quick. It’s difficult to see but the white background is actually Sparkle Glimmer Paper. That gives the card so much pizzazz.

Once again one run with the Big Shot gives you both these cut outs since the set includes 2 dies of holly. Pretty smart of Stampin’ Up!

One stamp set covered all the sentiments. This Peaceful Poinsettia Bundle is a real keeper! There are so many ways to use these two items

Stampin’ Up! Products Used:

Stamp Set – Peaceful Poinsettia

Ink – Markers – Garden Green & Real Red

Paper – Real Red, Garden Green, Old Olive, Sparkle Glimmer Paper, Whisper White

Accessories – Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits, Oval Framelits

Since we’re so close to the end of card mailing time…I plan to give you a post each day of this weekend. Cross your fingers I can pull this off. 🙂

I  hope you enjoyed this lovely card…like I already said…it’s my favorite.

I’ll be back tomorrow with another Christmas Card but until then…Happy Stamping!     Donna
