Sympathy Class #2

I just love this stamp set – Butterfly Basics with the Butterflies Thinlits. For some reason I lean towards the purple family of colors and butterflies for sympathy cards.

Masculine Thinking of You

I made this card for a man whose dad has suffered a serious stroke and my husband and I just want to let him know we are thinking of him and praying for his dad and his family.

Fancy Cut Stippled Blossoms

Today I’m sharing Card #2 for my May class.  I may have forgotten to mention that the focus of the class is the two-step process using the Stamp-a-ma-jig.  I know I forgot to include the Stamp-a-ma-jig in my supplies on Card #1 so be sure to add it.  🙂

I LOVE Stippled Blossoms stamp set and I will really cry when that set retires.  😦  This card is my version of one done by Dianne Sisneros.

Stippled Blossom Fancy Cut

Sorry the photo looks blue…I took it outside in the shade and that’s the way the white shows.

Both flowers and leaves were “fancy cut” as well as the Oval Designer Frame and one flower and the oval were “popped” up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Here’s the inside:

I continued the flower theme on the inside using the smaller flowers from this set.

Just in case I never mentioned it…I LOVE my Stamp-a-ma-jig!  I really believe EVERY stamper MUST have one.  I’m a bit fussy so I’d be nuts by now if I didn’t have one to center things.

I used the retiring colors Midnight Muse and Gumball Green as well as the Designer Frames Embossing Folder.
