Hello my fellow stampers! Hope you all had a good week. Today I have a visit back to the Wonderful Wreath Thinlits and the Circle of Spring Stamp Set. **Note – sorry for the yellowish tint on my photos. I took these outside but in the shade of the house and I’m afraid the beige stucco of the house cast this tint on my photos.
The Flirty Flamingo cardstock is so nice and springy along with the little Pink Pirouette and Tempting Turquoise flowers. The Daffodil Delight centers add another touch of spring. I used Wild Wasabi for the leaves and Old Olive ribbon – they blend together well.
The background was done using the Brick Wall Embossing Folder.
After making a couple more of these, I decided to sponge the wreath with a little Wild Wasabi. I like the white on white but decided the wreath needed to stand out a bit more.
I haven’t finished a card with this sponged wreath yet but I think it will stand out better. Where you see the blank flowers is where the cut out Tempting Turquoise flowers will be “popped up”. I purposely had darker spots rather than all the same color green. Any comments?

Now that I look at the white wreath on white…I’m not sure about the sponging. 🙂 I need to complete a card with the green sponging and then I’ll make a final decision before I complete the rest of the cards. I had quite a few left over from my March classes so I’m finishing them with various greetings – Mother’s Day, Birthday, etc. for my upcoming Craft Fair. This is proof that the more we look at a card the more ideas we can come up with.
