Happy St. Patrick’s Day (a day early)!
I used that great hexagon punch and scraps of DSP to create the background and the hearts punch to create the 4-leaf clover. It’s made of retired products but sometimes you just can’t part with them.
I also have an adorable card using the Party Pandas from Sale-A-Bration. Unfortunately this awesome sale ends on March 31st so if you have your eye on a particular item in the Sale-A-Bration brochures now is the time to act.
I got this idea for the Panda card from another card I had seen and for the life of me I can’t find it again and forgot to write down the creator’s name. I always like to give credit where credit is due but I sketched this so long ago.
These little Pandas are just so cute. I’ll be keeping this set for a long time! I used the Color Theory DSP in thin strips to represent the bamboo for these little fellows. I used this card as a birthday card but it could be for friendship or a note card.
I found to get the best black for the pandas I used the Archival Basic Black rather than Memento Tuxedo Black. The Archival was a deeper black. Warning…you need to let it dry thoroughly…or it will smudge.
Have a safe St. Patrick’s Day! Happy Stamping! Donna
