Floral Phrases Sympathy

I know no one really likes to make sympathy cards but we all eventually need them. The next three posts will show my June class cards – all sympathy but many of the class participants used other sentiments rather than making six sympathy cards. I try to create cards that adjust to different sentiments.

Floral Phrase Sympathy 2

Sorry for the extra large photo but I’m experimenting with my phone camera rather than using my Canon. They came out blurry when I tried to make the photo smaller. Give me some time…I’ll work it out OR I’ll go back to my camera! 🙂

I immediately fell in love with the bundle on page 77 of the new catalog. I’m also loving all the new dies in this catalog. I joined a stamp club with gals who make FANTASTIC cards using ALL products from almost every company. They use a lot of different dies and I’m so happy that Stampin’ Up! has provided us with so many new ones. There are so many things you can do with this thinlit set.

I really like the white on white with Night of Navy.  This color combination is so classic.

Products used:

Stamp Set – Floral Phrases

Ink – Night of Navy

Paper – Whisper White, Night of Navy

Accessories – Detailed Floral Thinlits

This card is fairly easy and doesn’t use a lot of products…another reason why I like this bundle so much. You may have noticed that the floral bouquet looks like I didn’t ink properly…it’s supposed to be that way. The stamp itself is designed to show depth. Pretty cool, huh.

Be back in a few days with Card #2 from the June class. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the remainder of your Sunday.

Happy Stamping!
